Ingredients

  • Moringa Leaves - 2 Cups
  • Onions - 2 Tbsp. chopped
  • Tomato - 1 Small chopped
  • Garlic - 3 Small cloves finely chopped
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/8 Tsp
  • Sesame Oil- 1 Tsp
  • Jeera powder - 1/2 Tsp

Instructions

  • Wash moringa leaves well in running water.
  • In a pressure cooker, heat a tsp of oil.
  • Add jeera powder, pepper powder and garlic, saute.
  • Add onions and saute until golden brown.
  • Add tomato and saute until mushy.
  • Sprinkle turmeric powder and saute.
  • Add moringa leaves and mix well.
  • Finally add water and close the lid.
  • Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles in medium flame.
  • Mash well. Strain with a strainer and serve warm.
