Kesar Lassi Recipe for kids and Adults

Curd is highly nutritious and good for babies. It is loaded with calcium, potassium, vitamins A, C, B-6, D, E, K, riboflavin, folate, zinc etc which would help in improving the immunity and overall development of babies. Curd can be introduced to babies after 6 months itself. In our recipe “Kesar Lassi Recipe for kids and adults “, we have added jaggery and hence it’s recommended for above one year babies. Kesar/ saffron is antioxidant rich. Adding saffron to curd adds color and extra health benefits to the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Saffron - 5 strands
  • Curd - 3/4 cup
  • Jaggery - 2tsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4tsp

Instructions

  • Soak kesar in water for 5 minutes.
  • Add curd, jaggery, kesar, cardamom powder in blender and Blend well
  • Serve cool or warm..
