Take the rice and dal in separate bowls.
Wash and rinse the rice and dal thoroughly, soak them for 30 minutes. Then drain the water.
Heat the cooker, drizzle some ghee in it.
Add rice and dal, saute for few minutes.
Add turmeric, jeera, hing and coriander and saute well.
Add 1 cup of water and close the lid.
Let it cook for 3- 4 whistles.
Let the mixture cool.
Add 4 tbsp. of curd and mash well.
Serve warm.
