When I first heard of the TEDIBAR soap, my reaction was ” Tedibar soap!! I have never heard of it and I have raised a kid through four years without knowing a baby soap!!!.” It was my dear cousin who suggested the soap, as my daughter was having very rough cheeks 2 weeks after birth. I was using a well known soap bar, but the skin over the cheeks became rougher as days progressed. I was postponing the visit to the pediatrician till her vaccination due and was contemplating to show her skin during the visit. By the end of second week after her birth, her skin over the cheek was angry looking reddish rough area. It was then a cousin of mine suggested Tedibar soap and after using it for 2 days the texture of her skin improved markedly and within a week it was back to soft supple nature. Coincidentally my pediatrician also prescribed the same TEDIBAR soap.

What the product claims to be
1. It is suitable from birth.
2. It is completely soap free and does not contain any harmful alkali.
3. It has the same pH as that of normal skin (pH 5-6)
4. It is gentle and effectively cleanses deep into the pores, without causing dryness.
5. It stabilizes the biological protective mantle of the skin and keeps it soft, supple and healthy.
6. It has re-moisturizing effect.
Ingredients
What I found it to be
1. After a couple of days of usage I found a marked difference in my daughter’s skin.
2. The fragrance is pleasant and not overpowering.
3. It comes with a Tray which helps to keep it dry and thereby lasts longer.The tray also helps in preventing the soap from sticking to the soap box.
4. It lathers into a good foamy consistency and just a small rub yields to lather the whole body.
5. The only negative feature is that the skin has to be washed well with water more than a couple of times as it leaves a slippery feel if not washed well.It may also sting the eyes unlike the No Tears body washes.
6. Compared to other baby soaps in the market it is little overpriced but worth the buy.
Verdict
TEDIBAR soap is a good buy for your infant. After seeing its effects I have started using for my elder one also.

Welcome dear. I’m not sure about the ingredients of Patanjali oil. The general rule is to avoid using oils containing minerals, mineral oils or strong scents, and prefer natural edible oils only. As it might enter babies mouth after massaging. Kindly consult with your pediatrician before getting the massage oil. We have also introduced natural soaps which are 100% natural without chemicals. Hi, My daughter is 6 yrs and has weatish complextion. She gets some white patches near her mouth area and her cheeks. I checked her doctor she said it’s just due to dryness and told to use Teddy bar. When I continued teddy bar for more than 3 months those marks disappeared. I am happy for that but at the same time washing face with this soap doesn’t give away the fresh look at all. Even after bath she looks still dull. Not gives the brightness. Can u suggest any cream to be followed or just use other soap during evening washes..

You can continue that and give healthy food so that the skin is healthy. Skin color depends on several factors and hence its important to keep the skin glowing and healthy.
Do not use himalayas cos it gives much darkness to the babies. Coz I have tried it to my baby now I m using Johnson baby soap that s the best of all

Very often kids are born fair and may gradually change their skin color based on genetic. Creams, oils have very less role in changing the skin color which is predetermined by genes. Best you can do is not to oil the kid and send in sun. And give healthy food so that the skin is all clear and glowing
Hello, I just want to share my feedback on this soap. I am using this soap for my child since from the day he was born to till today. It is really good and suited for my baby. His skin is very soft and maintains same kind of texture till now. Thanks to my pediatrician who suggested this soap. Before using it u can also check with ur pediatric once. Dear skin color is dependant on several reasons and may not be a factor of parent’s skin color. Ensure that baby’s skin is healthy, feed good and nutritious food and avoid being in sun for extended hours, especially after applying oil.

Hi Hema, You have to take care that the soap doesn’t get into the eyes, as it will sting. I am using Himalaya Shampoo for hair. Yes you can use for 6 months old, I started using it for my daughter from 1 month. Click the link in the article, it will directly lead to the tedibar soap page in the Clickoncare website.
The soap is great. Thanks for your review Hemapriya. Bought this soap after your review. Although my neighbour said that its good, my wife insisted on a little more research before buying. And you know Wivies are always right :p .
Anyways, my verdict on the soap: My little daughter’s skin is pretty happy. It retains the moisture of the skin.
It was really dificult to find it in Delhi and i bought it online from clickoncare
Tip: Buy more quantities in 1 go as this product tends to go out of stock very often on all sites.
All curatio products are good hema. My pediatrician recommended their nappy rash cream B4nappi and lotion atogla. Both worked wonders for my son. It is pricey but worth it
