Not to soak jowar, just dry roast and then powder it.

Hi Hema, Thank you for the service you are giving to mothers. Its beyond words. I have a doubt. Jowar can be sprouted as I read in your website. So Jowar flour means grinding the sprouted jowar after dry roasting. Am I right?
Dr Hemapriya says
Hi Jyoti, glad to know that you find our resources useful. This recipe involves dry roasting the jowar without sprouting it and grinding it to a powder.
Manimalar says
Hi, I have a doubt to make health mix powdee for babies do we need to wash all the grains and dry. Or can we just clean the grains and roast and powder. Because my mother used to say if we wash the grains in bulk then if we didn’t dry it well it may spoil easily so better not to wash in water just clean using muram and roast and grind.. Is this good way? …
pr says
Hi,
It’s better if you can wash, sun dry well and then dry roast and grind it for your baby.
