As Moms,we try our best to make thingsas comfortable as we can for our babies. No Mom can stand to see her baby in painand it’s enough to bring her to tears! Unfortunately, a baby’s delicate skin is vulnerable and prone to rashes and dryness, and one of the most aggravating of these skin conditions is diaper rash.
For our daughter, we rarely use diapers during the day, and the only time she wears a diaper for long hours is during the night and when we travel. On one long trip, we had to travel the whole day, and as a result she was in diapers for several hours. By the time we reached our destination, my baby’s tender skin had turned an angry red. Luckily (for both of us!), we had brought along a tube of Himalaya Diaper Rash Cream in our first aid kit. I applied the cream on the rash and left her diaper free. Soon, the redness came down to a light pink, and faded away after a day of regular application. This convinced us that this is truly a wonder cream! Here is a more detailed look at the product.

Our experience with the Himalaya Diaper Rash Cream
The first time I tried this cream on my baby, I tested the sensitivity of her skin by applying a small amount on her thigh. I was scared it would sting and cause her pain, but to myrelief, she was perfectly calm during application. The cream is thick and a small amount suffices for the entire diaper area. The cream was absorbed well, and I didn’t need to constantly reapply. A 50 g tube is conveniently small enough to carry in your diaper bag and there is even a 25 g tube which can be carried in your purse!
Price and Availability
The Himalaya diaper cream comes in tubes of 50 g and 25 g priced at Rs 85 and Rs 50 respectively. It is easily available at most medical stores and other places selling baby products. It is also available online at the Himalaya online store as well as leading ecommerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and more.
Verdict
The Himalaya Diaper Rash Cream worked really well for my baby and solved our diaper rash problem in a jiffy! I would definitely recommend this to all new Moms. If your baby has any pre-existing skin condition like eczema, be sure to consult your doctor before applying the cream and always remember to do a patch test first.
