Dates badam poha health mix is a nutritious health mix for toddlers to adults, which is extremely good for brain development and weight gain in kids. It’s easily made at home with the goodness of dry fruits and poha. Dry fruits are rich in many essential nutrients. It’s protein and vitamin rich. Dates Badam Poha Health Mix
Ingredients:
- Dates – 3 (chopped)
- Badam – 3
- Raisins – 1tbsp
- Poha – 1/4 cup
- Milk – 1/2 cup

Method:
1. In a bowl add dates, badam and raisin.
2. Add water and let it soak overnight or for 6 hours.
3. Wash, rinse and soak poha for 10 minutes.
4. Grind all together in a blender.
5. In a pan, add 1/2 cup of milk to the mixture and stir without lumps.
6. Cook in low flame for 5-10 minutes.
7. Serve warm.
This recipe can also be given to babies above 8 months. But the mix has to be made with water instead of milk, as cow’s milk is not to be given to babies below 1 year. For babies above 1 year, if there is a need of more sweetness, you can add dates powder or natural jaggery in the health mix.
