How to make Chocolate Trail Mix?
INGREDIENTS
- 100 gms almonds (Split in half)
- 50 gms sunflower seeds
- 30 gms flax seeds
- 50 gms dates (Pitted and cut into pieces)
- 50 gms raisins
- 600 gms quick cooking oats
- 250 ml honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 gms cocoa powder
METHOD
1. Begin preparing the chocolate trail mix recipe by toasting sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and almonds in a large pan over medium heat until the flax seeds stop popping. Set aside to cool for a delightful and nutritious blend.

- Add the dates and the raisins into the oats, add the nut-seed mix as well. Mix to combine thoroughly and evenly.
- Drizzle honey and add the vanilla. Mix until all the dry ingredients incorporate the honey evenly. The mixture should be still crumbly.
- Turn off heat and sprinkle cocoa powder evenly over the oats, honey, dry fruit and nut-seed mixture, turn over to coat all the ingredients with cocoa.
- Allow to cool, then store in airtight containers.
