Mam,
I totally followed your recipe but alas! My lo just couldn’t chew the blended chicken remains. I just don’t know why,coz otherwise he chews fish well when offered in little quantities. Don’t know what happened with the chicken soup. But it really saddened mecoz when you try something for your lo and he just cannot eat it it just makes the whole effort a waste. Just wanted to check with you if I did anything wrong.
Dr Hemapriya says
Hi Monalisa, that is sad, yes I can totally understand how frustrating it is when kids don’t eat. The chicken must not have been soft enough for him to chew, next time, allow the cooker another 3 more whistles

Hema,
I had tried this chicken soup with so much of expectations for my daughter. Sad to say she never had even a teaspoon.. Kids , they amaze us by their tastes and moods too 😛
I ended up having those pots of chicken clear soup then 🙂
I would like to add another pointer here: chicken clear soup should be an important intake for women above 30. It helps to increase the bone density if the soup is made with the whole chicken ie with chicken bones. Hope this was useful.
Dr Hemapriya says
Yeah, you are right, I also end up eating leftovers 🙁 . A food that the my son hates today may magically turn into his favorite next day just because his friend brought it for tiffin at school. Kids and their ways!!!
Thanks for the useful pointer Sangeetha 🙂
