- 2 tablespoons dry fruits powder (we have used our my little moppet’s dry fruits powder which is free from preservatives and additives)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- A pinch of salt (only for babies above 1 year)
Instructions:
- Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 20 minutes. Drain the water and set the rice aside.
- Heat ghee in a cooker. Once it’s hot, add grated carrots and sauté for a few minutes until they become soft.
- Add the rice and sauté for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the milk and add the dry fruits powder to the cooker. Mix everything well.
- If you want to add a pinch of salt for flavor, you can do so at this point. However, it’s optional, and can be added only for toddlers.
- Add 2 cups of water to the cooker, and give it a good stir.
- Close the cooker with its lid and cook on a low flame. Let it cook for three whistles.
- Once the cooker cools down and the pressure is released, open it carefully.
