Buttered Green Pea Mash
Ingredients:
- Green peas – 1 cup
- Butter – 1 Tsp
- Jeera Powder – A Pinch
Method:
1. Add water in a pan.
2. Fill a bowl with the green peas and place it in the pan of water.
3. Steam cook for 5-10 Minutes
4. Mash Green peas with Potato Masher
5. Heat Butter in a pan.
6. Add Pureed Green peas.
7. Add a pinch of Jeera powder for seasoning.
8. Saute for few seconds.
9. Serve warm.
While introducing green peas to babies after 6 months, it’s important to give as pureed form. Partially mashed chunkier green peas are ideal for babies, who are 10 months or older.
