Healthy Evening Snacks Recipe – Beetroot Rolls
Ingredients:
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 1/2 beetroot grated
- 1/2 carrot grated
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 spring onion chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 3-4 bread slices
- 1 tsp oil
- Oil for frying
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan, then add cumin seeds and mustard seeds to prepare the method for this evening snacks recipe.
2. Next, add onion and spring onion to the pan and sauté them.
3. Allow the mixture to cool down as part of the preparation process for this delicious evening snacks recipe.
4. In a large bowl, mix together potatoes, beetroot, and carrot.
5. Add all the seasonings to the mixture in the bowl, ensuring that the flavors are well incorporated.
6. Add the sautéed onions to the mixture, and gently mix everything together until well combined.
7. Slightly dampen the bread slices with water and then gently squeeze out any excess moisture.
8. Add these dampened bread slices to the mixture and combine well.
9. Shape the mixture into desired patties, forming them into rolls for a unique presentation.
10. Roll the patties in semolina, ensuring they are fully coated, for a delightful and crispy texture in this evening snacks recipe.
11. Deep fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy, and serve them with a dip of your choice. For added flavor and nutrition, you can also incorporate boiled peas into the mixture. Enjoy this delicious evening snacks recipe!

Ingredients

- 1/2 carrot grated

- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Put oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
- Now add onion and spring onion saute it.
- Allow it to cool.
- In a big bowl nix together potatoes,beetroot and carrot.
- Add all the seasonings to it.
- Add the onions to it.
- Slightly wet the bread slices in water and squeeze excess water from it.
- Add these slices to this mixture.
- Roll out the patties in desired shape.
- Roll them in semolina to cover them properly.
- Fry the rolls and serve with dip of your chioce.
- You can also add boiled peas to the mixture.
