Hi Doctor, can pineapple jam be made using the following recipe?
Dr Hemapriya says
Yes you may, just peel the pineapple and grate the flesh and cook it in a pan for about 30 odd minutes with water. Try a small quantity to get it right.

Hi,
Small doubt, cooking fruits will not destroy the nutrients from them?.
Dr Hemapriya says
Hi, since we are preserving this as a jam, the apples should be cooked, you can also steam the apples, steaming preserves the nutrients.
