Instant Ragi Dosa For Babies (Carrot Included)
Ingredients
- 100% Organic Homemade Ragi Flour – 1 cup
- Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Grated carrots – 1/2 cup
- Cumin/Jeera Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste ( you can skip the salt for babies under 1 year)
- Water or Buttermilk as needed
- Optional: Coriander leaves, curry leaves, grated/chopped vegetables, onions
Method
1.To begin preparing the instant ragi dosa for babies, mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add the wet ingredients and whisk to make a batter with the same consistency as dosa batter . You make the batter very thin as for rawa dosas, I made mine a little thick since my son prefers it like that.
2. In the next step of preparing the instant ragi dosa for babies, drizzle the dosa tawa with a generous amount of oil or ghee. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the tawa and spread it evenly, just like you would for a regular dosa. Watch as the edges start to cook and turn slightly crispy. Now, flip the dosa over and let it cook on the other side until it achieves a beautiful golden brown color. The aroma of this mouthwatering instant ragi dosa for babies will leave you craving for more!
3. The dosas should be a light brown, perfectly cooked to perfection. Serve this delectable instant ragi dosa for babies with chutney or a dip of your choice. Get ready to treat your little ones to a delightful and nutritious meal!
You can get creative with this instant ragi dosa for babies by adding in vegetables of your choice. Mix them into the batter for an extra nutritious twist. And if your little one needs an extra incentive, top the dosa with some grated cheese to make it more enticing. The possibilities are endless, so let your imagination run wild and customize this dosa to suit your toddler’s taste buds!

Hello Dear doctor,
My son is 9 months old, he is not interested in formula milk and even my breastmilk, what should i do?

You can give other forms of milk like curd, cheese, paneer. Also give shakes and other foods which have milk as an ingredient. Hope you are following the monthly chart as per baby’s age.

My dosas are sticking to the pan while flipping and not easily coming off even after greasing it with oil . I am adding rice powder instead of wheat powder is it due to that?
