Hi Malvika,
That’s great dear. You are most welcome 🙂
Subhashini says
Can we cook in pressure cooker? If so how much water should we add.
pr says
Hi Subhashini,
You can try making it with pressure cooker dear. Add 1.5 cups of sand in pressure cooker, place a cooker rack and heat it for 5 to 10 minutes with lid closed and without gasket and whistle. Then place the cake tray (above the rack) in the cooker. Simmer for 40 minutes. Your cake would be ready 🙂

Hi made this cake yesterday and its fantastic ! Didn’t expect it to be so good ! Its bursting with flavours, delicious, soft and due to the pomegranate seeds super moist. Some modification I made, I added less sugar ( less than 1/2 cup) as I like my cakes with a mild sweetness. I also added vanilla essence. And just one tip for other bakers, I let my cooked apple sugar mix sit for a long time to cool and it hardened like rock. I added the oil and warmed the bowl so that it could come off and then microwaved the apple mix to soften it. So when yours is done, just let it cool for a minute or so not more. If it still gets stuck like mine, u can follow my procedure 🙂 Lovely recipe and super health-apples,atta and pomegrantes wow ! Thanks a lot !

Now, this has sugar mentioned! A lil confused now.
