Ingredients:
- Guava
Method:
1. Wash, rinse and peel the skin of guava fruit.
2. Cut it into four halves.
3. Deseed the guavas.
4. Chop into small pieces.
5. Cook with little amount of water for 3-5 minutes.
6. Let it cool.
7. Blend into a smooth puree.
8. Serve.
This recipe is suitable for babies above 6 months. Guava contains small seeds that can be hard to digest for babies below 1 year. Therefore, remove the seeds when you make puree. Seeds can also be added for elder kids. Guava fruits are listed among the fruits that are least likely to be chemically treated and hence they are completely safe for babies to consume.
