Pumpkin Halwa for Babies
Ingredients
- Grated Pumpkin – 1 cup
- Dates Powder – 1/4 cup
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Dry Fruits Powder – 1 tbsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Cardamom Powder – a pinch

Method
1. Heat Ghee in a pan.
2. Add grated pumpkin and saute till there is no raw smell.
3. Add little water and let it boil.
4. Add Dry Dates Powder.
5. Add dry fruits powder and cardamom powder and mix well.
6. Mix well till it thickens.
7. Yummy halwa is ready to get served.
This sugarless dessert with a festive twist can be given to babies from 8 months of age. Pumpkin is suitable for babies after 6 months itself, but since this recipe contains dates powder, we’ve raised the recommendation to 8 months.
