Apple oats porridge is a highly nutritious and fiber-rich meal for your baby. Rather than giving plain apple porridge or oats porridge for babies, the combination of apple oats porridge works out great.
If your child is not very fruit savvy, trying out this apple oats combination can be a wonderful solution. My son personally loves it and calls it “White Liquid Kheer” without knowing what goes into it!
Before introducing any new food, remember to follow the 3 Day Rule. It’s also important to sterilize the utensils and equipment needed for cooking baby food.

Hi Vasundhara,

Hi
My friend says that blending in a mixer reduces the nutritional value of the food. Is that true. If it is how can I feed my 10 month old without blending
pr says
Hi,
Your friend is partially right.Heating food will reduce nutritive value, but the heat produced by blender is very low and will not have impact so you can use blender as per your need.

Hi Subhashini, it might be that the oats or apple turned out to be of odd taste. Check and try with different set of oats if needed.

My son is now 21 months old and can chew potato chips, biscuits but when I try to give smashed khichri or porridge, he directly swallow it, never chew.
That’s why I am grinding everything and giving him.
I am worried about his chewing part. How to make him chew the food which I want him to have?
How to ensure that he eats the same quantity which I am grinding now?
I feel when he chew the food, the quantity of food may reduce.
Please suggest.
