Brown Rice Flakes Kheer Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Brown Rice Flakes
- 2 cups Milk, boiled and still hot
- 1/4 cup Sugar or as required
- 1/4 cup Chopped nuts and raisins
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
Method:
1. Heat ghee in a non stick wok . On a low to medium heat, fry the brown rice flakes until fragrant.
2. Add 2 cups of boiled , hot milk to the roasted flakes.
3. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the flakes are cooked thoroughly and the milk is considerably reduced.
4. Add sugar followed by the nuts and raisins. Give a quick stir and cook for another 1 minute.
5. Turn off the flame. Add the cardamom powder. Mix well.
6. Serve the delicious Brown Rice Flakes kheer hot or cold. You can garnish with some more chopped nuts if you like.
